Why calories in alcohol are extra-fattening
- Alcoholic drinks are made by fermenting and distilling natural starch and sugar. Because alcohol is made from sugar or starch, it contains lots of calories – seven calories a gram in fact, almost as many as pure fat!
- Drinking alcohol also reduces the amount of fat your body burns for energy
- Stronger Alcohol more calories, but when you drink light beer or wine, you drink with foods!
But we cannot live without drinking alcohol, when you have a nice dinner course or hang out with friends! The key is to use moderation and to make low-calorie choices whenever possible. According to the American Heart Association, a man should limit himself to two drinks daily, while a woman should have no more than one. One drink is defined as 12 ounces of beer, 4 ounces of wine or 1.5 ounces of 80-proof spirits.

but as crispy as chips. Also it is salty enough to make your beer taste good!!
